I cannot comment on what Dr. Akleh said because I have no personal knowledge of the affairs in Syria. What I do know is that the American military-industrial complex has been fomenting wars in Muslim countries ever since the end of the Cold War. The goal is not to conquer the Arab states, it is to create an never-ending series of wars which will enable the MIC to achieve their goals. These are:

One: To sell an endless stream of arms and supplies to the US and other governments.

Two: To keep $700 billion a year flowing into the Pentagon from the taxpayers, and then into the mega-corporations which manufacture and sell the weapons and supplies.

Three: To use the excuse of a “War on Terror” to finish stripping all civil rights from American citizens (which started under the “War on Drugs”).

Four: To keep the Jews and Evangelical Christians happy by supporting Israel, thereby keeping the Warmongers in power.

If the groups that support the liberation of Palestine had any sense they wouldn’t waste their time attacking random civilians, they would go after the millionaires and billionaires who are financing the Warmongers.

This is a good analysis and a useful compilation of facts about the Syrian conflict which only fails to mention, that Hamas has sold out to Qatar, which colludes covertly with Israel. Hamas leaders are corrupt and are content with the status quo even as life in Gaza gets more and more unbearable.

Hamas leaders don’t care about the plight of the people as long as their privileges are secured by Qatar. Fatah is not much better, their leaders are paid by the European Union to keep the population quiet and to participate in the disgusting spectacle of useless peace negotiations that Israel never took serious.

Whatever the outcome, the biggest losers in the Syrian conflict are the Palestinians who at the end will have lost the only sincere and honest supporter they ever had.

It has been a long time since we heard from you Elias, good to have you back. I think America is finally getting tired of Israels bullshit. O,Bama seems to be getting tired of a little pissant of a country ordering us around. If Israel wants to invade Iran why dont they do it without dragging us into it. Why, because the whole middle east will rise against them. They would rather have someone else do the fighting and dying for them. Screw Israel & go Palestine the world is with you.

From the reports coming daily in the media it is obvious that people of syria who are sunnis are fed up with Assads government and are ready to embrace death rather to be ruled by shias or alawites. Dr Elis is one of the rotten shia who can not see the excesses of army on the civilians and is supporting the mafia of Iran syria and hizbollah who are perpetrating worst crimes in the history over sunnis of syria.
