Well said Mr. Cooke. Amerika’s proletariate is, for the most part, against US war policy. Problem is, Amerika’s ruling elite are NOT listening to ‘we the people’. Especially those ensconsced in the bowels of our corrupt Congress. Believe me, I’ve tried on numerous occasions to engage senators, congressmen and/or women, and they dodge questions regarding war and humanitarian atrocity like the plague. You can’t get one of them to reasonably explain US support for Israeli apartheid. It is frustrating if not outrageously galling. Of course, one does not give up. Not in the long struggle we are all in.
I’m thinking that the US just might get the imperial fingers burned if the fingers of Empire start messing seriously with Syria. Russia is taking a dim view of US hegemony and I for one would welcome Russia standing tall against US bullying.
I could suppose it’s good to have a dream.
    peace my brother,
    skulz

Send out ham sandwiches and cocoa to the protestors. Yeh right.I guarantee some people would get shot.

It’s time to bring down the Assad government. They have done NOTHING to get Israel out of the Golan Heights or elsewhere. Assad is a Zionist coward… who is afraid to stand up to Israel and the U.S. I’m happy the Sunni Imans are calling for a JIHAD against the Assad regime.

Bashar Assad, not unlike his devilish father, is an enemy of Islam and a murderer. God Be Willing, with the downfall of the Ba’ath Party in Syria the Muslims will rise to power as we are seeing in the other countries that have experienced the “Arab Spring.” In the Middle East, as the flags of secularism are lowered (or torn down) the banners of Islam shall rise.
