Dr Ashraf Ezzat offers a compelling query to the Anti defamation league and to the ministers of Israel who seek to limit discussion considerate of the feelings of Palestinians under Jewish occupation in the middle east, an Arab part of the world.

Are zionist hand wringers frightened of people fighting back against their pikes, slings, arrows and jibes in worldwide press, statehouses and corporate boards? Is Jewish fear of reprisal for their gutless savagery against Palestine and Lebanon, and threats of regime change against Syria making it difficult to allow free speech of Arabs on Facebook for fear that the Arabs are correct in lodging the complaints up close and personally, the peace talks have miserably failed for so long, what else is there?

To be sure the new intefada language is the same as what Israel and the US has sewn into Syrian protests but with one important exception, the Third Intefada hasn’t the stuffed shirt audacity to stand on a bully pulpit crying foul while torturing the life out of poor Arabs in Palestine, The third intefada isnt subversive, covert, deceptive ,manipulative bullshit made by rich denizens of aquisition covetous of others lands, culture and heritage, it’s real people with an hinest rebuke of dishionest bullshitters for injustice because they say so, What the bullies of Israel make in such a demand of facebook is a hollow mockery of what Israel and it’s legion of fakirs is all about. Democracy???? For whom?Just for Jews, they vote people off of their own islands then cry as babes without milk when assailed with indictments as to their illigitimate claims to lands they covet, not out of any real authority or ministerial dialog with meaningful thesis backing it’s platforms, this is just about people who have gotten their way in criminal pursuits for so long they feel justified in breaking any law any time if “israeli security” or insecurity can be touted as reason enough to lie, steal main, curtail freedoms, imprison activists and denounce their causes as diminimus compared to the need to protect Jews from the truth about their awful Israel.

Arab arent stupid and perhaps paybacks for the incitements sewn into the hems of Arab revolution at the behest of Israel hegemons will fail, as will Israel, for not having any substance but that same shallow insignificant excuse used to the point of extreme abuse, God gave us this land doent apply to facebook does it? To the US congress? Syrian revolts? What else has God given of other human beings life lines and inheritances to people who take, take take and never even consider the suffering it causes Palestine or it’s peoples? Dont take my facebook away, is what the Tunisians said, Egyptians,Lobyans, Bahrainis, what about Israel and the US, facebook revolutions are like pandora’s box Israel, they just happen spontaneously where democracy is sought by the people, but also where lies are told about leaders, or perhaps just the truth of their evil ways, democracies work this way Israel, Foxman, when leaders suppress dissent the dissenters rebel, when bullies suppress free speech their people spout off, reject such oppressors and do what revolutionaries do quite naturally they revolt against their tyrants, Israel is full of such tyrants, AIPAC is suffuse with them the ADL is build by tyrannical forces whom teach Jewish children that they are despised just because their Jews, maybe the ADL should be honest to those it’ seeks to instruct as to why Jews may be reviled in some circles, it’s not for being Jewish,it’s for pretending to be angels while devilishly commiting the very sin of creating animosity against Palestine and Muslims that Jews accuse Palestinians of, which is hypocrisy, no more than pure unadulterated drivel from hasbara who cant stand the truth of the matter, Israel isnt taking Palestine away from the Arabs, sorry Charlie, Starkist want Jews are are good not who just seem good.

    Elias,
I believe that this comment by Ms. van der Hoop is to point out that Israel’s government is somehow superior to the neighboring Arab governments because no revolution has ever broken out in Israel by Israelis against its own government.
The point is that the nature of the governments is based upon two entirely different origins: one, the Arab, on tribalism and the other, Israeli, on European parlimentary law.
While currently the perspective to perceive representational government as being one that more fully serves the needs of ordinary citizens, non-representational governments are fully capable of doing so if the leadership is educated, informed, and can perceive that the ability to provide a means for its ordinary citizens to find success in their lives is vital to the survival of the nation.
Unfortuantely greed and temptation by outside powerful interests have corrupted many and their peoples have sufferred unjustly as alien needs were served by the affected leadership.
I believe Israel may be an example of a nation that needs instability in the surrounding environment in order to justify the drive by conservative elements to exert continuing force and coercion over its environment and to maintain their grip on the heartbeat of the nation.

The planned May 15th march into Israel by the Arabs may make the fulfillment of Psalms 83, see below:
83:1 Keep not thou silence, O El: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O Elohim.

83:2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.

83:3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.

83:4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

83:5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:

    83:6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;

    83:7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;

83:8 Assur also is joined with them: they have helped the children of Lot. Selah.

83:9 Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:

83:10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.

83:11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:

83:12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of Elohim in possession.

83:13 O my Elohim, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.

    83:14 As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;

83:15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.

83:16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O YHWH.

83:17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

83:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is YHWH, art the most high over all the earth.

Those that believe that the events regarding Israel are confirmation of Biblical prophecies are deluded. Many of the events so foretold were in reference to events that have already occurred in the times of those statements. Also the reality of the nature of the Lord God is completely ignored by these men who spew hatred against the real victims of European colonialism. The Israel of the Bible is not the political reality that is identified as the Biblical entity. You have to keep in mind that the Lord God has no political motivations and that the purpose of the Bible is for spiritual enlightenment. All interpretations regarding meaning and supposed prophecies have to be weighed in regard to their spiritual significance not to a real-life scenario. For example, the supposed battle of Armaggedon can be construed to represent a spiritual conflict with the representation of blood being spilt up to the reins of a horse’s bridle as indicative of the significance of the event that would make it impossible to navigate within the arena of spiritual conflict.
The notion that these current days are any where approximate to the days of Sodom is completely off base. In Sodom, the WHOLE TOWN was taken up with the idolatry of self as expressed through homosexuality. In our day such a magnitude is not the case.
What is the case is the level of fear that so-called Christians seem to be floundering under and because of their failure to cope with what they do not understand the love of the Lord God that they are supposed to be witness for and to has turned into praise for the destruction of innocents and salvation by the destruction and the remaking of the earth by the Lord God. THIS IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN ANYTIME SOON, if it ever happens at all. Remember the earth was made by God for life and at the top of that pyramid is man. Even when Adam fell what did God do?
God made apparel for Adam and Eve to wear.
Before he had to compel them to leave Eden. And this is the point that grieves Heaven most when God sees those who claim to love Him rally in support of a political entity that has defiled the very land that they claim is theirs by birthright but which Heaven has driven them from.
Whatever the future holds for man, that future will be decided not because of the wrath of God but because of the intrinsic laws that God set in motion upon the creation of this universe. So while all the armies march each claiming God is on their side, the earth and the heavens above will react to whatever forces are at play with no regard to the plight and objectives of humanity.
Humility is something mankind has lost. But it may be discovered by all all too soon.

    Jerry Copeland Reply:

Tracy, thanks for your comments. However, I can understand your rejection of what I have had to say in terms of the enlightenment that I have come to perceive in regards to the reality of the nature of the Lord God and of what those who claim to be the faithful according to whatever text is used for such confirmation. The difficulty is that there is a long history of how such texts are understood, such as defining meaning from the interpretation of the base languages or by correlating learned elements of past history to perceived relationships to present or supposed future history. It is not an easy battle that I have undertaken but the reality of God cannot be simply limited to statements written by men, though even under the inspiration of their sense of relatedness to God, for such is an act of idolatry wherein words become the god denying the reality of the Creator to be whatever the Creator wishes to be. This desire by men for stability is in itself an act of idolatry for the jest of creation is not in constancy but in change. This in itself would indicate that the Lord God of Heaven is a god that not only creates but that creation is ongoing and thereby changing.
The notion that the Lord God would destroy this world of men for the sins of all is ludicrous as in indicated by the simple statements in Genesis of the Bible that after Adam and Eve did what they had been warned not to do that the Lord God clothed them and then sent them on their way out to fend for themselves. God did not simply destroy Creation and start over again at that time when it would have been the easiest thing to do. Instead God separated himself from man and left him to rediscover the relationship that man had lost with God. Yet through the ages after man has become aware that though he has everything he could imagine having that having everything is simply not enough! He has finally realized that without that initial relationship with God that nothing else really matters. And so has arisen all these faiths each claiming that salvation is here! Each with their own tenets, texts, masters, prophets, disciples, etc. Yet they all have fallen into idolatry. For they all deny the reality of the Lord God of Heaven whenever they put precedence upon a text or words that have been written and that are supposedly blessed and have been interpreted and digested into the mush of deception. So then institutions and men become the real god that is worshiped and even angels are worshipped above the Lord God of Heaven.
It is time for those, in this case Christians and Jews, to recognize that any meaningful relationship with God cannot be found within words or the definitions as propounded by those who have wasted their lives in trying to discover that relationship. Look at all those who bemoan the grief of unanswered prayersa or who blame Heaven for their woes. These poor souls have yet to discover that a relationship with God begins with an acknowledgement of his reality not that of someone who may have sacrificed himself to proclaim or to confirm what were believed to be prophecy. And it all began in Eden when man accepted those cloths from the Lord God so that he would be clothed to face the harshness of life. That is the reality of Heaven and Earth. This is the only faith I accept.

    Christian Palestinianism
    By Jim Fletcher
    Prophecy Matters

For some time, I have been raising the alarm that evangelical Christianity has been infiltrated by theological leftists. Among other things, this impacts our nation’s view of Israel.

Recently, I was made aware of a movement of young evangelicals who are embracing what the British lecturer Paul Wilkinson calls “Christian Palestinianism.” Loosely, this means a Christian who supports the Palestinian Arabs, and dismisses Jewish claims to the land. Obviously, these “Millennial Generation” Christians (18-34) do not embrace Bible prophecy. Their worldview is different.

A battle for Israel is being fought in the United States right now. Traditionally, Americans have supported the Jewish state, and the U.S. has always been one of the few friendly havens for Jews. I believe that is changing.

Chris LaTondresse, CEO of Recovering Evangelical (recoveringevangelical.com) is such a leader. By embracing new media and technologies, they are reaching vast numbers of young people. To be perfectly frank, while many of us in the Bible prophecy community cling to old models in presenting our worldview, young people aren’t paying attention at all. They are running to the “recovering evangelicals.” Listen to what LaTondresse posted on his website:
“Our generation’s tutors are child-soldiers in Uganda, girls rescued from sex-slavery in Thailand and homeless youth living in the crumbling remains of America’s inner-cities. Our primary classrooms are Brazilian favelas, rural villages in Kenya and bombed-out neighborhoods in Gaza. These people aren’t our causes. They’re our friends.

“For these reasons and more, we’re turned-off when faith becomes a bludgeon used to condemn those outside of our tribe. We think the world needs fewer culture warriors and more peacemakers, reconcilers and bridge builders.”
Of course, he is interested in building bridges with those of like-mind. I seriously doubt the young evangelicals who consider themselves centrists or left-leaning are interested in building bridges with what I’d call Bible-believing Christians. And, it is perfectly acceptable for them and Brian McLaren and Tony Campolo — mentors of a sort — to use their faith as a bludgeon against those with whom they disagree. Amazingly, McLaren is considered to be a voice of reason and a compassionate voice, at the same time he lambasts Bible-believing Christians.

LaTondresse has been impacted by the teachings of Elias Chacour, a Palestinian Catholic from the Galilee who promotes the “Palestinian narrative” which essentially blames the Arab refugee problem on Israel. As LaTondresse claims, Chacour “loves Jesus,” but one isn’t clear if these men acknowledge that Jesus is a Jew. Certainly, the godfather of modern terrorism, the self-proclaimed leader of the Palestinian people, Yasser Arafat, absurdly identified Jesus as a Palestinian. This lie has also been peddled by such “evangelical icons” as Phillip Yancey.

The leadership team of Recovering Evangelical, seven-strong, is comprised of college graduates — including one from Princeton Theological Seminary. One hundred years ago, Princeton was in the midst of a transformation from being a bastion of conservative scholarship, to a liberal school. That is why such wonderful teachers as Robert Dick Wilson departed Princeton. The spirit of the age was against them, and it is against us.

Interestingly, one of Recovering Evangelical’s senior contributors, Brian Kammerzelt, currently serves on the faculty at Moody! He also taught at Wheaton, which many Christians do not realize is more liberal than conservative. He also attended Willow Creek, the seeker-friendly church in north Chicago started by Bill Hybels.

Hybels’ wife, Lynne, has become more and more vocal about supporting the Palestinians. On her blog (lynnehybels.blogspot.com), she recently posted some comments about a sermon her husband had delivered the month following the 9/11 attacks.

Predictably, Bill Hybels decried what he described as unfair characterizations of Muslims, by Americans. This after 19 Muslim terrorists had murdered more than 3,000 Americans. ABC’s Peter Jennings went down the same path, almost immediately holding a town-hall meeting to present Muslims as misunderstood peaceniks.

Lynne Hybels wrote this about her husband’s message:
“He talked about ‘hot reactors,’ people who ‘opinionate before they reflect, before they bow down and pray; who ventilate before they ask God for sober-mindedness and self-control; who indict whole races of people before they know the facts. Let’s call this what it is: not good. Not good behavior. Not good Christianity. This is Christianity gone awry.’”
Lynne Hybels also spoke at the “Christ at the Checkpoint” International Conference, organized by Palestinians and Christians who oppose Christian Zionists. On the website (christatthecheckpoint.com), we also learn that Tony Campolo characterizes Christian Zionism as “theology that legitimates oppression.”

Christian Zionism is a theology that legitimates oppression? That is a lie.

These kinds of potshots and smear tactics against Christians who support Israel are growing in number. Christian Zionists, in my view, must determine to do two things:
    1. Read, study, and educate. Learn the arguments. Study the issues related to Israel and the Jewish people. Then use your brain to articulate these things to your circle of contacts. A word of caution: the nastiness of the proponents of “Christian Palestinianism” will be a continual problem. Yet we must engage these attacks, which are ultimately attacks on the Jewish people.
    2. Embrace the new technologies. Use tools like social networking, PowerPoint presentations if you speak to groups, etc. If you think you’re too old for Facebook, think again. “Tweet” on Twitter. Realize that cell phones are the new delivery systems for young people. While we are fumbling with overheard projectors and slides, our opponents are laughing, while providing the content they want young people to digest via new technology.
Leftists will always present themselves as reasonable, compassionate, “careful thinkers.” They focus heavily on social justice issues, and love causes that would make the Pacifists’ Hall of Fame.

Yet there is a malevolence associated with their loathing of Christian Zionists. Check it out for yourselves.

    We have work to do.

I understand, Tracy. But understanding the Bible or any other book that proclaims Heaven must begin by an understanding of the deity that that text is supposed to represent. First and foremost: Thou shalt have NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME. That means literally anything that is honored before the Lord God including even the declarations reputed to be made by the Lord God to men. God is not the slave of men. Nor can any book be so construed as to limit or control what is within the ability or mind of the Lord God to do.
My concern, then, is not what the Bible or whatever text has to say but whether whatever text is quoted has more relevance than the nature or identity of the Lord God.
Secondly, the most important thing to recognize by the Christian politicos who advocate Zionism is that the second commandment of Jesus is to love thy neighbor as thyself. Otherwise, what is important is that the life of any man is more important than any ideology or religion or value system.
Thirdly, the notion that a people that had once occupied a land and had for whatever reason left it having some right to repossess that land on the basis of any statements by any person, even those claiming such as the will of the Lord God is ludicrouus and a false justification for all the evil of the Zionists who introduced terrorism into Palestine.
Remember God clothed Adam and Eve and sent them out into the world to cope with it on their own, knowing that they were clothed with the blessings of Heaven. They made their own choices as have all men since then. God is no puppeteer! Never has been and never will be. Yet despite prognostications of the potentialities of events, the desire of Heaven does not validate the devices of men who by their own craftiness has undertaken to accomplished what was claimed to be the will of Heaven when such was not the case but rather an acknowledgement of what could be.
Finally, when such important books as the Bible become tools for political designs then such uses only serve to invalidate the credibility of the text. Perhaps another way of looking is to understand just what is meant by the Promised Land and by who the chosen of the Lord are.
So I, in prayer, will continue to be testament to the perception that all such devices of men even the Bible are only objects serving to make God a tool of mankind and as such have become little more than icons of idolatry.

Hi Jerry for your information the commandment Yahushua (Jesus) gave “LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF” is not a new commandment but quoting from the Torah (5 books of Moses – Gens to Deut):
Lev 19:18 Don’t take vengeance on or bear a grudge against any of your people; rather, love your neighbor as yourself; I am ADONAI.
We don’t need philosophical gibberish to explain the Word of God as it is written plain and simple even for a shepherd boy to understand.
from the time Yahuwah gave this land stated in Gen 15:18 to Abraham, he has been having problems from the Amalakites until today.
Gen 15 : 18 (CJB) that day ADONAI made a covenant with Avram: “I have given this land to your descendants— from the vadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates river—
18 (AV) In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: ”
The descendant is ISAAc (Israelites) and not to Ishmael (Arabs) And this is a blood covenant between Yahuwah and Abraham. and Isaac and not with Ishmael.
Gen 17: 17:19 And Elohim said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

17:20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

17:21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.
SO THIS IS AN EVERLASTING COVENANT, ANYONE OR ANY COUNTRY INTERFERES WITH THIS COVENANT FACES THE WRATH OF YAHUWAH INCLUDING USA! BE WARNED.
Which country in the world has another country within it’s borders? If the native Indians in Ohio want to have their own country within Ohio will that happen? Then why make an exception for Israel after all it is such a small country which has blessed this world with medical breakthroughs and scientific advances.
So will 15 May march to Israel ever happen? If it does then they would face the wrath of Yahuwah!

In May 15 1947 Israel became a country just as prophesied by Isaiah:
Isaiah 66: 8 Who ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen such things? Is a country born in one day? Is a nation brought forth all at once? For as soon as Tziyon went into labor, she brought forth her children. There are both physical and spiritual fulfillment. Those who walk with Yahuwah are not deluded. Read that Psalm carefully and you will see it is Arab nations who are Muslim and they have one theme “to wipe Israel out of the map” Will Yahuwah allow that?
    Shalom

    [Reply]

    Jerry Copeland Reply:

Cecil, I will respond in two parts to your query.
Psalm 83. Please read this PRAYER carefully. Notice that it says “thine enemies MAKE a tumult” instead of WILL MAKE. This psalm is NOT a prophecy but a prayer for deliverance from what appeared to be an impending invasion by various forces, probably most notably Assyrians.
Also keep in mind that during these days there were no Muslims. Many of the peoples mentioned were of the lineage of Ismael, son of Abraham, and as such also believed in the God of Abraham though many may have fallen into the idolatry of the original Canaanites, such as the Philistines.
Also note that this prayer COULD NOT be answered as it failed to recognize that many of those who it declared as haters of God were not at all haters of God or even of these particular Israelites. They were a force that was pushing westward in quest and conquest. Verse 4 is a complete presumption by the singers of this psalm and does dishonor to the integrity of God as God would already know what would lie within the hearts and minds of those who appeared to be on the verge of overwhelming the Israelites. The prayer also ends poorly with the singers inferring that unless God does what is requested that somehow God will be seen as powerless! Again this only illustrates the idolatry of verse in its efforts to manipulate Heaven to serve the interests of men. Truth being, the interests of Heaven is in seeing man blossom into the potentiality of the blessings that each has been gifted by Heaven with at the moment of inception.
If you wish to find solace in a Psalm then I recommend Psalm 1.
Tomorrow as time allows Isaiah 66.

Hi Jerry thank you for your insight, I see you seem to be analytical of the bible! That is how the Pharisees and the Scribes missed knowing Yahushua the Messiah when He came the 1st time.
According to my study there are always two parallels onr for the present time when it was written and the other is prophetic for the future. I want to high light verses 4 and 5 of the Psalm 83
4 They say, “Come, let’s wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Isra’el be remembered no more!”
5 With one mind they plot their schemes; the covenant they have made is against you
In today’s setting who are saying these statements?
Yahushua chose12 simple minded men to be his apostles to carrt out His work Later he chose Shaul (Paul) an very highly educated man in the law and the scriptures for a purpose tp explain the Torah with the gospel and breakdown the man made laws of the Pharisees, Scribes and the chief priests.
(CJB)2Peter 3:15 And think of our Lord’s patience as deliverance, just as our dear brother Sha’ul also wrote you, following the wisdom God gave him.
16 Indeed, he speaks about these things in all his letters. They contain some things that are hard to understand, things which the uninstructed and unstable distort, to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures.
Shaul (Paul) was also analytical and explained the laws esp regarding circumcision for the gentile believers but that has caused to believe anong the modern day Christians that Grace replaces the laws of Yahuwah.
The writings in the bible are prophetic esp for the last days.

    Jerry Copeland Reply:

Cecil, your comments make it pointless for me to explain the basis of Isaiah 66 or any other verse found within what is the Protestant version of the Bible as you will believe what you will irregardless of whatever may be the case.
What is saddest for me is that those who ascribe to Armageddon or the last days will be disappointed as there will be no last days as is generally accepted by the current interpretations of Revelation and other supposedly related verses found throughout the Bible.
This is because I have an entirely different relatedness to the Lord God of Heaven, the Creator, than those who ascribe to the centuries of standardization and indoctrination by established faiths. To illustrate, Isaiah 66 is a hodgepodge of verses that have been thrown together though on a careful examination it can be seen that there appears to be siginificant gaps in the text. The verse you are concerned about has nothing to do with current day Israel but rather the restoration of the temple at Jerusalem during the reign of Cyrus the Great of Persia (isn’t this ironic in today’s world!). The development or extension of statements within this chapter as well as within other chapters are easily taken out of context and used as a device to validate supposed fulfillment of supposed prophecies but are in fact only coincidental at best or expressed exploitation of known verses to support a basis of credibility at more recent statements of fulfillment. Simply, because I am aware of something written in the past and as its use suits my purpose then I can exploit that writing to validate my position. Not only such occurs but all kinds of dissection and reassembly of Biblical references are used to promote all kinds of positions, often conflicting, even those whose aims are evil, such as with homosexuality.
What is the most important is not what the Bible says but what is the nature of God. Using John 3:16
it is said that “God so loved the world that He gave” may be a clue as to what Heaven is all about. It is not about men oppressing other men and being able to comfort themselves by feeling justified that such has been predicted in the Bible
but whether one’s actions show appreciation for that love that God gives so that each of us has life. To deprive another of life is to declare that this gift that God has given is worthless thereby making God of no merit at all. Whenever God had intended to bring Israel back into Palestine it would not have been as has occurred for the simple reason that it would have been at a time when all would be well and go well and the integrity of each would have been maintained. It is only the impatience of men that created the mess that the world is now saddled with.
What is saddest is that Israel will fall by its own hands and callousness not because it has not been given ample opportunity to make peace and amends in this tragic episode of history but because it trampled under its feet the innocence of others and there is simply nothing more loved by Heaven than that innocence.
So then the option is there to either adhere to teachings of the past or to rediscover a reality that transcends the limitations of words and embraces the possibilities of pure faith.

Jerry, whose side are you with? Israel or the Arabs who call themselves Palestinians? I see there is no direction but “beating around the bush” with all your intellectual writing as though writing a thesis. If you are, then this is very subjective and I don’t want to get into worthless arguments. since you do not believe in prophesies so be it. Every one is entitled to their opinion but don’t go around and say “you are deluded” when some of us believe in bible prophesies, end times and HIS eminent return as mentioned in Acts 1:11 with what you call pure faith! Looking at your arguments you do lack pure faith. Faith is believing beyond reasoning but in your case logical reasoning supersedes what you ought to believe. So we both are in different camps and I choose to believe through pure faith all the fulfillment of the bible prophesies including Psalms 83 and Isaiah 66 and many others. Wish you shalom.

    Jerry Copeland Reply:

Cecil, thanks for being so forthright!

The only “side” I am on is the side that sees the Lord God of Heaven as not being that which is represented in such books as the Bible. That representation is human made to serve human needs. That is, to make God amendable and in the service of a particular perspective when in pure faith the Lord God serves no man but cares for ALL MEN.
While it may be interesting to say that such and such in the Bible appears to be coming into fulfillment in our days, the problem remains that the objective of the Bible is for spiritual edification. Its best use is to learn to understand how men have perceived God and what their prayers and visions in reference to God have been. Its point is not about one man owning it over another man but how one man by his perspective of God can serve even those who are his enemies as a testament to the power of God within the life of that man.
Again, to use the Bible or any book deemed of such and such righteousness as a weapon to justify the oppression of other men is an abhorrent act of idolatry that can only result in futher acts of horror. The foundation of our reality is focused upon the notion of equality. This is evident by the equal sign of chemical and physical equations. It is evident by philosophical systems such as the Chinese Yin and Yang. It is evident by the Biblical statement of the messenger Jesus: whatever a man sows that he shall reap.
Peace between Arab and Jew will not come until the wrongs of the past that have been festering over these many decades have been made right. What is needed is a JUST and EQUITABLE agreement between Israel and the Palestinians, that will provide for some degree of closure.
It is apparent that Israel NEVER intended to agree to any such arrangement at all. So what can it expect. You reap what you sow. Do not expect Heaven to suddenly appear and rescue the Jews or whoever feels that they will be so saved.
    The equation must be balanced.

    Jerry Copeland Reply:

    2nd Peter 1:19
Peter is regarding his coming death and is reassuring
those to whom he sent this epistle that they should
regard his words as being a truthful representation
of his personal experiences and that his words are a
revelation of truth (in regards to 1 Peter verses 1-8).

    2ND PETER 3:3
Here is Peter rehashing what he has been taught about
the belief of the end of days and uses this particular
statement in regards to people who forgot about the
flood of Noah and that event confirms that there is no
reason not to believe that the world of men could be so
taken with destruction again. While generally construed
to mean an act of Heaven that will destroy the world of
men the probability could also infer such destruction in
the course of human history at the hand of man himself
as the statement “day of the Lord” does not imply any
direct action by the Lord but rather infers that whatever
occurs will not be opposed by the Lord.
The point of this chapter then is not so much to promote
an end time as it is to bring into recognition that life
is short and that (as in verse 11) what manner of person
    ought you to be?

    ROMANS 11:25-32
You must really look at the entire chapter to understand
what Paul means here. As in verse the fall of (the Jews)
becomes the blessing of the Gentiles may be misconstrued
to mean something other than the entire intent of these
passages found in verses 32 to 36 where Paul concludes
that they all, Gentiles and Jews, are unbelievers in need
    of the mercy of God.

    Again,
it is all too easy to use any portion of any scripture
to support whatever viewpoint one may have. Revered texts
must be used for personal uplifting and relatedness to God
and not to confirm or support a political agenda.

Aerial Sharon was struck down by Him for giving up Gaza, 5000 homes destroyed in Gaza under the pressure of US president and HE destroyed 5000 homes in New Orleans with Katrina. I investigated why Japan had such terrible judgment on March 11. I found a letter dated 10th Feb 11 by Japan’s foreign secretary to Israel warning them not to build any new buildings in East Jerusalem so HE judges! Earth quake in Christchurch in New Zealand has also linked with Israel and the lists goes on. Watch out for Netherlands! They could have allowed them to create their own state there or if not a state, if they don’t like the way the Israelis treat them they could have treated them better. Truth is the Egyptians and rest of the Arab world couldn’t give a crap for the Pals. They want the destruction of Israel. Forget truth though. Egypt still celebrates the Yom Kipper war as a victory. “Knows Better” makes an important point. How many million refugees were there in Europe (and Asia) at the end of WW2? Are they still in refugee camps? No? And why do you suppose not? Because they found homes- with the assistance of many nations- and got on with their lives. The other Arab nations could have helped the Palestinians. They didn’t want to. They are ( broad generalization but generally true) a racist people who consider the Palestinians the lowest of the low. They have found it to their advantage to allow the situation to fester, giving them a handy excuse to vilify the Israelis. We could debate the wisdom of the British and United Nations decision to create a homeland for the Jews, but time has marched on. All the Arab wailing and moaning over the poor Palestinians is something they historically, and even to this present day, could seek a constructive solution to, but they choose not.

Thanks for your reply, Elias. I was beginning to think you were maintaining this website just so the Messianics and the love-niks could go at each other. To your point about Palestinians wanting to return to their homeland: no doubt the 11.5 million ethnic Germans who were expelled and their property appropriated in Poland, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Yugoslavia, E. Prussia, etc. at the end of WW2 felt the same way. The Estonians, Latvians, Lithuanians, Croats & Ukrainians probably didn’t want to live anywhere else either. I feel pretty sure the surviving Jews of Europe would have been perfectly happy to go back to their homes, but those that tried found them either destroyed or with new occupants that had no intention of returning them to their owners. Bad things happen in wars. In attempting to make up for one, the Holocaust, another ill occurred, the displacement of the Palestinians. Perhaps it didn’t seem like such a big thing against the backdrop of WW2, but obviously, for those displaced, it was. I used to be sympathetic to your cause, Elias, but when set in historical perspective, I see it now as simple intransigence, encouraged by other Arab nations who have an agenda. The agenda is NOT about assisting the Palestinians. If they had wanted to do that, they would have helped them resettle and GET ON WITH THEIR LIVES, like the millions of other refugees of that time (at least those lucky enough to survive). No, the agenda is about religious hatred, with more than a touch of jealousy that others could come in and build a modern, prosperous, educated society on that otherwise dusty, impoverished stretch of land. Arab Israelis can vote, and can & do serve in the Knesset, which is more representation that many Arabs have in Arab governments. Clean up your own houses first.

    Elias Reply:

The idea of displacement of Palestinians was not conceived by the Holocaust, It originated in the 19th century when Zionism was created. The first European Zionist settlers arrived in 1889 financed by the Rothschild Family. Palestinian Arabs and Jews have always lived in peace. The cause of the displacement of Palestinians was when Zionism , with an ideology to settle Jews in Palestine and displace the Indigenous Palestinians. 500 Palestiniian villages were demolished by the Zionists, and Massacres like Deir Yassin, and Tantoura were carried by Zionist to force the Palestinians to fllee their homes. There two dozens of Laws passed by the Knesset that discriminate against Israeli Arabs.
The struggle of the Palestinian people is against Israeli Colonialism, racist confiscation of their land the the demolition of their homes since 1948, collective punishment and all violations of Palestinian civil, economic, political, national and human rights.

there is no mention of Jerusalem in the Koran – so why does the Arab world want that city anyway- they have Mecca and Israel wants peace and to live peacefully with it’s neighbors – so what’s the problem Arab neighbors???? look at the size of Israel compared to all the rest of the Middle East Arab/Muslim countries, like another writer suggested, share your land (Egypt)with the people living in Gaza (by the way, Palestine is not an Arab name-it is Grecian and Jews lived there long before Arabs/Muslims did)
I have been to Jordan and was treated very well and to Israel and was also treated very well. Neither country said a bad thing about the other. Deut 6:5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind & Matt 22:37-39 …love your neighbor as yourself.

Also if your neighbor were to break into your home and to drive you out of your home and country just how much love would you extend to such a neighbor.
Love your neighbor as you love yourself does not preclude resisting evil from him though it does mean not to do evil to them.
Also the Palestinians are not Iraqis, Jordanians, Saudis, Egyptians, etc. They are called Palestinians because they were born in Palestine not brought in by boat by the English and forced upon the native Palestinians.
Why don’t you check Wiki on the significance of Jerusalem to Islam.

In all due respect, I am still correct that Jerusalem is not literally mentioned in the Koran but Zion and Jerusalem are mentioned 809 times in the Hebrew Bible. 669 times in the Christian Bible. I also respect what you mentioned about the significance of Islam in Jerusalem.
Israel’s land mass is about 1/625 (1/6 of 1 percent)the size of the Arab World
    • 5.5 million Israeli Jews;
300 million Middle Eastern Arabs and Muslims.
Up until 1967, Egypt occupied Gaza and Arafat was Egyptian.
The Dome is in Jerusalem, Israel and there is freedom to worship along with other religions such as Christians in this city, in this State. MOST Arabs/Muslims that live in Israel get along with the Jewish people and want to live peacefully together.
God is love from the Koran and the Bible and the Torah and likely other religions. The point is: LOVE one another.
No human is perfect no matter what religion one belongs to, or knows all, so suffice to say, my comments are that the peoples of these nations get along and try to live peacefully with one another.
Quote: ‘We Arabs, especially the educated among us, look with deepest sympathy on the Zionist movement, we wish the Jews a hearty welcome HOME, our 2 movements compliment each other.’ Emir Faisal – 1919
Check out the wars against Israel in Wiki from Egypt and Syria wanting full occupation and destruction of that State (Israel/Zion/original Palestine before the Jewish people were expelled by the Romans this time, in 70 AD – the Jews ancestral land) and understand their perspective as well as the Arab/Muslim world.
With the amount of Arab/Muslim people in the world as mentioned above, it is a faction of those persons that want to destroy Israel and I would suggest most are from outside of Gaza.
Do not just mention Israel when talking of occupation or wars, as this website is all about the destruction of Israel by some of their neighbors.

I do not believe that this website is about the destruction of Israel but rather about Israel taking responsibility for those peoples and their descendents who were living in Palestine but who were coerced, intimidated, and driven from their homes and some of whom tried to regain their properties and their nation. Israel has shown itself to NOT live by the “Love thy neighbor” creed as it has basically interred the displaced Palestinians into areas that it exercises control over, in essence conditions similar to the reservations of the American Indians or internment camps of either side in WWII. Israel has shown itself not to care about the Palestinians and to regard them as dogs. It would rather bring in supposed Jewish converts from other nations than to allow native born citizens of Palestine to return to their stolen properties or to be given a chance to find a new home in the land of their fathers.
Israel has failed to do right by these people who really have a more legitimate claim to the land now occupied by Jewish settlements than the foreigners who have moved into the area being so encouraged by various incentives offerred by the Israeli government in its efforts to make Israel an entirely Jewish state.
Speaking of Israeli Arabs, life is not as you say but they are a discrimated minority whose rights are limited and whose representatives in the Knesset are more tokens than of any significant representation.
While the current state of affairs and the development of Israel as a police state is understandable such has only arisen because of the short-sightedness and dehumanized perspectives of those who thought only of themselves and of restoring a “homeland” for their peoples instead of acknowledging the rights of the native Palestinians and having appreciation for their willingness, at the time, to share Palestine with these tormented souls.
Perhaps it is fair to say that the torment of WWII still lives and now includes the innocent Palestinians.

As to the argument that the Palestinians have some special, mystical connection to their land and therefor deserve it back- that’s just nonsense. The Native Americans had a special, mystical connection to their land. It is no longer theirs. Would they like it back? Sure. Will it happen? No. Same with the Aboriginal people of Australia… I’m not a sociologist, but I’m sure there’s some named principle about how more organized & technologically advanced societies supersede less organized societies. The Neanderthals found this out and it’s been generally true ever since. I don’t disagree with you that great wrong has been done to the Palestinians. I just think PART of that wrong has been from their Arab would-be brothers who have perpetuated this fight for their own ends and reasons, reasons having less to do with the good of the Palestinians than with Arab hatred of Jews.

I recently heard of a new social network, called “Diaspora”. The idea there is that anyone with a computer and an internet connection can install a server of the social network. So there can be millions of owners to this social network. I assume that in this case governments will not be able to put effective pressure on anyone.
