It is not unlikely that the Israeli Govt. will revoke her citizenship and marginalized her of political activities. But,despite all sorts of threat from the Govt.-Ms.Haneen and other Palestinian Israelis should not give-up their political stand and fight for peace and justice. Thanks to Mr.Max Bluementhal. There is a structural problem in Israel that needs full discussion. If a section of the US, say the South, were to have blacks still legally as second class it would be quite likely that US politicians against such a situation would participate in a flotilla-like expedition, and would be received differently, but not necessarily in a post-Patriot Act scene in which a majority of the US would view such an act as unpatriotic. It is unconsionable that the Zionists (not all Jews) think that Israeli Arabs should embrace an identity that rejects them, and that the Palestinians should say that the people who have taken their lands and homes have a "right" to do so. That they have is a fact, and one can acknowledge it and go from there to find a solution, but to require the humiliation of dignity and mind-games that the Israelis are requiring is not democratic and not something we should support with funds or votes in the UN.
