If Americans Knew What Israel Is Doing! VIDEO WAS CENSORED!
US Interests and Israel/Palestine
Although it is not often reported by the press, a large proportion of American diplomatic and military experts have long held that U.S. support of Israel is often contrary to and, in fact, extremely damaging to U.S. interests.
Support for Israel interferes with: American relations with the oil-producing nations, with whom we previously had friendly ties; with Muslim consumers, who represent 1.2 billion people world-wide; and removes much-needed money from domestic American requirements — tax revenues that could be addressed to domestic needs are instead sent abroad to prop up a system of discrimination that is antithetical to American principles of equality and democracy.
In addition, the ‘special relationship’ between the U.S. and Israel is increasingly imperiling American lives.
Why, then, is this done? Close examination of the history and current situation reveals that U.S. policies in the Middle East are rarely driven by U.S. interests. Rather, they are largely driven by two very different factors:
- Special-interest lobbying of the sort that is common to Washington. The only difference from typical lobby groups is that this lobbying is on behalf of a foreign government. Fortune Magazine rates one of the many lobby organizations working on behalf of Israel, AIPAC, as the second most powerful lobby in Washington. In total, many experts rate the pro-Israel interest group as the most powerful lobby in Washington.
- The efforts of a growing number of individuals with close ties to Israel (known as neoconservatives) who have attained key positions at high levels of the U.S. administration, State Department, and Pentagon.
Interestingly, the oil and weapons industries, although very influential over parts of American Middle East policy, are not responsible for our relationship with Israel. In fact, quite often both of these industries find our support for Israel undermines their corporate interests in the region.

Friend, I think you are missing the point. The reason that America supports Israel is two-fold
1.) Antisemitism – No leader wants that words used in connection with their name. They know that once it is out there, there is nothing you can do to defend against it.
2.) A very flawed view of Christian Eschatology. For a century, American theologians have insisted that Israel’s return as a national figure was a key to Christ returning. Considering the weight of the ADL and the Christian Zionist movement, it is impossible to be elected if you stand against them.
Some of us Christians, however, do try to bring attention to the gross injustice which Israel is bringing upon the Palestinian people.

Response to Joel:
Friend, the entire term “anti-Semite has taken
on a meaning absolutely unrelated to Semites,
Semitism, and one’s attitude toward them,
and has been given new and inappropriate
meaning as a term of opprobrium to be applied
to any critics of Jews, Judaism, Israel, Zion or
Zionism, all of which have very little to do with
Semites and Semitism, but if that is the
definition which they wish to apply the the
terms, and those are the definitions of the terms
which the general English speaking public chose
to accept, then I think we should all adapt to,
accept and be happy with being castigated as
“Anti-Semites.”‘
Frankly, under the new and Jewish, Zionist,
Israeli assigned definitions of the term,
I am anti-Zionist, and if they choose to interpret
that to mean I am anti-Semite then I am also
a proud “Anti-Semite” by their definition,
although I have no problem with true Semites,
or Semitic people and in fact, love and side with
them in their battle with Zionism.
If I have accomplished nothing at all in these
years of throwing words at Zionists who redefine
English to suit their own ends, and damn all else.
I accept the label “anti-Semite” as a badge of honor
and recognition of my service in the pursuit of the
benefit of mankind.
